Chief Petty Officer Nate Hardy was killed Sunday February 4, 2008, during combat operations in Iraq. Nate is survived by his wife, Mindi, and his infant son Parker.

Army Staff Sgt. Jack M. Martin III, 26, of Bethany, Oklahoma, assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 1st Special Forces Group, Fort Lewis, Wash., died September 29th, 2009, in Jolo Island, Philippines, from the detonation of an improvised explosive device. Martin is survived by his wife Ashley Martin, his parents Jack and Cheryl Martin, and siblings Abe, Mandi, Amber and Abi.

In honor of Navy Petty Officer 1st Class Jeff Taylor, 30, of Little Creek, VA who was killed in Afghanistan on June 28, 2005.  He died while conducting combat operations, when the MH-47 helicopter he was aboard on a rescue mission crashed in the Kunar Province, Afghanistan.  He is survived by his wife of three months, Erin (Banghart) Taylor of Virginia Beach.
